What FilterProof is
FilterProof is an evidence-based AI resume and job-application platform that uses a candidate’s real career history to tailor ATS-ready resumes and cover letters without fabricating experience.
A job seeker adds career evidence — old resumes, project documents, certificates, LinkedIn exports, notes — to a private Memory Board. For each job, FilterProof matches a pasted job description to that evidence requirement by requirement, shows the gaps, and generates a tailored resume, cover letter and fit summary from the matched evidence only. Generated wording is checked against the evidence so the document does not claim experience the candidate has not shown.

Why it exists
FilterProof was built by an engineer who was rejected by automated screening for hundreds of jobs after graduating, was hired every time a person put them in front of a company, and later got roles by aligning their resume to each posting’s language without exaggerating. The founder’s account is on the About page. The product’s premise follows from it: most qualified candidates have the evidence they need; it is scattered, under-described, and not written in the vocabulary the posting uses.
Product philosophy
- The candidate’s real history is the only source of truth. The AI writes from it and is checked against it.
- Gaps are shown, not filled. If evidence for a requirement is missing, the resume does not claim it.
- No outcome promises. FilterProof does not claim to guarantee ATS passage, interviews, or hiring, and does not present its alignment analysis as an employer’s score.
- No scraping of gated job boards. Find Fit uses sources FilterProof is permitted to use; users can paste any posting.
- The user’s data is private, exportable and deletable from the account at any time.
What the product does today
- Memory Board. A private board of career evidence: old resumes, project notes, certificates, LinkedIn exports, screenshots.
- Job-description matching. Paste or upload any job description; FilterProof compares it to your evidence and shows the keyword and requirement gaps.
- Find Fit. Role matching against sources FilterProof is permitted to use. It does not scrape LinkedIn or Indeed.
- Application package. A tailored, ATS-ready resume, a cover letter, and a fit summary for one specific job, generated from your evidence.
- Truth-checked wording. Generated resume language is checked against your evidence so it does not claim experience you have not shown.
